GREAT

I use this on an average of about 40 patients per day. It is wonderful. Easy to use. Easy to carry. The beaping that informs you that a range is off helps greatly. I highly recommend this oximeter.

Does the job

I work as a COTA in a RN home/Rehab. It is very fast & accurate. I would recommend this to a Nurse or Therapist in a sub-Acute rehab working with cardiac clients & client on continuous oxygen.

I like it

My dad is on oxygen but doesn't have to wear it all the time. I bought this so that he could keep track of his oxygen levels while he is without his oxygen on.

so-so, a bit slow

I just got this in the mail this past Friday the 25th after ordering it on the 10th. The directions say it shows a reading typically within 4 seconds. Mine seems to be much slower; sometimes not giving a reading. I don't think the HR is very accurate as most of the time when I put it on my finger it will show in the 40's when I can feel my heart racing. Since I bought it for the sat number, I did compare it with the one we have at the hospital and seems to be /- 1 percent. The HR is accurate at times. It is convenient to always have on hand and be able to use to assess my patients more quickly. For the price, it was worth it.
