allheart cardiology stethoscope with high acoustic sensitivity for quality auscultation. Two-sided bell and diaphragm combo chest piece with non-chill rim for patient comfort. Cardiology style Y-tubing with internal binaural spring. Accessory box includes two extra pairs of ear tips (hard & soft) and a replacement diaphragm.
I like the brand it's not expensive and can hear pretty clear. For the price it does the job.
I've owned three Sprague stethoscopes and decided to give this one a shot, and I'm really glad I did. Lung and heart sounds are much louder and clearer. As others have mentioned, the annoying flaw in the design are the earpieces. One side feels secure, the other unscrews and falls off far too easily. Nothing like reaching for your stethoscope when you need it to discover you're missing an earbud. The best solution I've found is teflon tape.
I'm a medical resident and have gone through about 5 stethoscopes because I lose them frequently. I was expecting better quality based on the other reviews. It's a great price but you get what you pay for. Sound quality is about the same as what you get with disposable stethoscopes, and the ear pieces fell off the first day I had it.
i have used better ones but, this one does the job very well and the price was amazing. it is a good product that will last a while. what more can you ask for?
this stethoscope looks great and feels very light hanging around my neck, but i am not picking up heart and bowel sounds as well as i did with my heavy rappaport which is important for a post surgical floor with telemetry. for the price, i probably got in quality what i paid for.
