Leather Types:

SMOOTH Leather: Birkenstock leather is super thick (about three millimetres) yet supple. Natural leather is instantly identifiable by its smell and the different contours and colours that characterise its surface. Birkenstock does not use any artificial dyes to cover up these differences so the leather stays open-pored and breathing.

SUEDE Leather: Extra-strong, highly durable leather with a sueded texture and natural characteristics.

SOFT FOOTBED: The time-tested cork construction footbed with an extra layer of soft foam on top, filled with millions of tiny air bubbles. Recommended for folks with low arches or over-pronators. (Currently available in Suede Leather only.)
