The James scrub pants from Koi Scrubs offer incredible comfort, fit and durability. These zip-fly drawstring scrub pants are designed just for men. Available in a range of colors, these pants feature lots of deep pockets and an extra fabric loop at the left hip. There is an elastic waistband, silicone piping to keep shirts tucked in and an adjustable hem. They look and feel great at work or any time. The fabric is a comfortable cotton and polyester twill.
I bought 3 pairs of these pants. The black and brown seem to collect lint and dirt, the silver does not. The silver pants are my favorite fabric, soft and smooth, not attracting lint or dirt. However the silver pants did not respond well to the use of pretreatment for stains, and faded dramatically only where I sprayed Shout. Overall, I do like the shape, fit and cut of all of them.
Along with the Jason scrub top these are the best men's scrubs out there, and I've tried many. They're super comfortable and fit like men's scrubs should fit. The only thing that would make the pants perfect would be a cargo pocket on the left side. These are the only scrubs that I will buy. They're expensive but worth it.
i love the Koi brand. The material is soft and durable. I am left handed though and I wish there was a cargo pocket on the left side as well as the right. I make do though. Lol
Being a fairly tall (5'8"), not-so-curvy woman. These pants are perfect. I was looking for cargo pants, because I work in a busy ER and I need pockets. These pants are long enough for my long legs, and I love the fact they are truly straight legged. (I'm not a fan of the flared leg you find on other "women's" scrubs). And because they have button closure and a zipper fly in addition to the draw string they feel more like pants instead of pajamas.
Nice Pants. another pocket on the side will be helpful.
Both the tops & bottoms are cut on the small side. The bottoms need to be worn low on the hips. Cut with a short rise. The zipper also needs to be at least another inch longer to be comfortably used. The material is great as is the workmanship. Bought two sets and have decided to go back to Landau scrubs.
Koi pants are OK. The crotch is definitely short, nonetheless they fit comfortably. The design is superior to the average (this makes them noticeable). They tend to loose color quicker than other brands (not so much quality in the dye, I guess).
These Koi pants are the Ferrari of scrubs. They use high quality, comfortable materials. The pant also comes with a unique set of pockets that allow me to carry various supplies and items. I am recommending Koi scrubs to all of my co-workers.
great pair of scrubs. I got the large which fir fine, but just be aware you may need a belt....I mean I thought I could go down to a medium and then I wouldnt need a belt....but the medium is waay to small in the legs.
Before these were available in the ""James"" style for men there was the Koi Lindsay. Since I love the Lindsay and have it in many colors, I went ahead and bought these. Fortunately they are comparable to the Lindsay pants except they don't have as good of a selection of colors. They are long enough for my 5' 10"" inseam and fit well. Personally I find the drawcord at the ankles to be a useless feature and would much prefer a bootcut leg. It also comes with enough pockets to be functional.
I always have a hard time finding scrub pants that fit. I must just be in between size, large is usually too big, and medium is usually too small. I decided to splurge and try these pants in a large size, and they fit great. They are comfortable, and have held up well. I work 12 hour shifts in an ICU, and I've worn them at least 20 times (with a wash in between each wearing). No signs of wear and tear yet. Just wish the cargo pocket was a little deeper, and that they had a cargo pocket on the left leg.
I bought these for my step-son who just graduated nursing school and is on his way to his first nursing job. He loved them ! He especially loved how soft and comfortable they were!
I wore ""cheap"" scrubs forever but it was time for me to splurge on some ""nice"" scrubs. I can honestly say I don't think I'll ever wear anything else! I've tried the Dickies and Cherokee zip-fly pants as well and like these so much more. They just fit well. The material is incredible, the build seems solid. If I had anything negative to say about these it would only be that I wish for more colors. Yes these are more expensive, but they are SOOO worth the extra $$$
nice matterial with suitable price
These pants are good quality and have excellent design features. The zipper design and pocket placement work very well, but the thing that sets these pants apart is the fabric. They're soft, but durable and they feel great on your skin. I'll be buying more. Nice work, Koi!
I am used to the 4000 series pant by Cherokee, so I figured I would see what else is out there. The pants are very soft, and well cut/shaped. The crotch is very short (remind me of my lucky jeans). The material is just ok, they do not feel as rugged as I would have liked. I am an x-ray tech so, im constantly climbling, pushing, and just plain getting dirty. I did not feel confident that they would make it through my shift. I did get compliments that my arse looked great in them though.
The dye was very poor. Some of the pants had areas where blue was coming through.
