Best EMS Stethoscope on the market

I have been in EMS since 2007, and started out with a double tube scope. Got a Cardio III when I was in Paramedic school and did not realize what I was missing when listening to my patients. This is the only stethoscope that I have used that I can hear clear lung sounds and heart tones in the back of an ambulance even with the engine running and going emergency to the hospital. My old Cardio III black edition walked off at a ER but it is worth the cost to replace it with another littmann. I would recommend this model to anyone in EMS, ER, or other Critical Care areas where you have a mix of adult and pediatric patient.
Pros:
Clear lung sound and heart tones even in the back of an ambulance.
Adult and Pedi in one scope. I would recommend this item to a friend.
Great stethoscope

This stethoscope has excellent acoustics and the thick tubing helps minimize outside noise as well as essentially eliminate an artifact noise normally found when thinner tubes rub against skin, clothes, etc.

My husband-to-be just graduated from medical school. I had the idea to get him a stethoscope for his birthday and then get it inscribed with his name when he graduated. I ended up dragging my feet on buying one because he couldn't decide which one he wanted.
About 10 days before graduation, I panicked and went online to see what stores even supply stethoscopes in Michigan. I found a page that had mentioned that she got her Cardiology III- which is what he finally said he would like- engraved and shipped for less than her local bookstore at allheart.com. I found this Black Edition and knew it was the right pick.
I never thought it would make it in time due to the personalization so I was VERY impressed when it showed up with days to spare! He was so surprised and excited to see his name with DR in front for the first time. :)

I absolutely love everything about it. The black edition is perfect to tell it apart from others and gives it a sleek look. The monogrammed name is perfect, just wish it was on both sides of the tubing. The sound quality is amazing!

I don't know because I purchased this for my daughter who is graduating next month from college with her BSN in Nursing. She specifically asked for this because while in school, she did clinicals at different hospitals and found that she likes this stethoscope.

This stethoscope is actually a little heavier than I expected. But I like that. The construction is what I normally expect from LIttman, the only reason for this purchase is because my other one (15 yrs old) is finally starting to show some wear. The All black edition stands out.

Great product. The stethoscope is lightweight, comfortable to wear and carry, and the sound quality is exceptional. Definitely worth the money if you plan to use on a regular basis. If you plan to only use a few times a week the look at the lower model Littmans.
Allheart.com was one of the best prices and delivered the stethoscope with engraving in great time.

the personalization is so small as to be invisible. would rather not see the large Littman name on front & back. I would recommend this item to a friend.

This is my second one, I including others liked this stethescope so much that it got stolen at work. Even with my name laser etched on it??? What people will do. Keep an eye on yours, this one is flashy. Great tones, perfect for an assessment, BP's, lungs sounds, heart sounds etc...

I have used this product before, also purchased here. My last one was "borrowed" at work and was missing in action. Great product, works well. I find as I age, I need a better stethoscope, and this one works well. The all black edition looks sharp! To help keep it with me longer, I opted for the engraving on two places. Lets hope it helps.....

First time I know this stethoscope is when I practicing in a clinic.
That time a retailer comes and demonstrate this product. I'm very impressed with the sound of the heart that this item produce. Actually, I have one of littmann product (The Classic II S.E) but the quality of sounds that both item produce is different. My Classic II S.E only heard one sound at the systolic, but the Cardiology III can't separate that, into actually TWO sounds in systolic. Amazing!!
I wish I could have it one with my name engraved in there.. :)
Pros:
The nice clear sound.
The deepest in hearing, so every noise around us almost disappeared.
The black color make it perfect.
Two sides of diaphragm, one for adult and one for pediatric.
The conventional one without machine, so I don't have to change the battery and it will works without it. (So I don't have to worry if I must travel to the middle of nowhere)Cons:
Only the bigger tube that my Classic II S.E
but I think that's not a problem, since it will produce high quality of sounds.I would recommend this item to a friend.

I ordered this item very last minute and needed it prior to a trip I was taking out of town to do some clinicals. It arrived in great condition, exactly as ordered, and in time for my trip! I couldn't be more pleased.
I wish I had ordered the lettering for my name on the tubing rather than on the head of the stethoscope; it is hard to see.

I worked in cardiology for 6 years and I always liked the Littmann stethoscopes when I used them at work. When I went to med school my school offered a great deal on TYCOS Harvey Elite stethoscopes and unfortunately I fell for it. I couldn't hear a thing with it. I broke down and forked out the money for the Cardiology III and I couldn't be happier. I love the way that it sounds and feels. I love the pressure sensitive head. I love everything about it. Simply the best.

I finally had to replace my original Cardiology III that I got as a 1st year medical student. The internal spring broke and repair by 3M costs over half the price of a new one. I love the black-on-black edition. Looks very cool & yet professional. Cardiology III has the multi-purpose functionality I need as a family physician treating newborns to elderly. The soft tips originally on it were too soft, actually collapsed on themselves & impaired sound transmission. The hard rubber tips work perfectly for me, and their gray color actually makes the black-on-black style stand out more.
Pros:
multi-purpose with the dual sided, floating diaphragm design. Cons:
nothing really so far with the product. I paid a lot for expedited shipping, but it arrived only as fast as priority mail which is much cheaper. All Heart should offer priority mail as an economic option.I would recommend this item to a friend.

Loose pediatric bell diaphragm

Great stethoscope functionally. But from day received it, the diaphragm on pediatric bell side kept coming off...I would reassemble it, but it would soon fall off again. Finally I lost both the diaphragm and snap-ring that holds on the diaphragm. Have had several Littman stethoscopes (some 20 years old) over the years used heavily and never once a broken one.Called Allheart and they referred me to Littmann who promptly sent me replacement pieces without hesitation. It was covered under warranty. Great customer service from both companies.

The Cardio III is the standard in general stethoscopes. This is a great price for the product which includes the adult and peds diaphragms and bells. The Black Edition is a great looking touch, and has achieved a kind of cult status thanks the TV show Scrubs. Overall, a great price for a great product. Engraving took 3-4 days, so the time to get the product was longer than I would have liked, but it was worth the wait!

One of the best quality and best looking stethoscopes. I've had one for over 3 years and still use it everyday at work. I'm an ICU RN and I refuse to use any other type of "ears".
The only bad thing is the pediatric side bell/diaphragm has a tendency of breaking. Just have to buy some extra replacement parts.
