It features a dual adult- and pediatric-sided chestpiece with a tunable diaphragm that allows you to use both sides of the stethoscope to monitor high and low frequencies. Also features a solid stainless steel chestpiece, two-tubes-in-one design, non-chill rims, adjustable double-leaf binaural spring and patented 3M Littmann snap-tight, soft-sealing eartips. My 1st one lasted 15 yrs, Now I'm on my 2nd!
I just bought my Second one. I have had my 1st Cardiology III for 15 yrs. I did have to replace the black outer ring but for 15 yrs, out in the Florida heat, that's nothing. It's still in good shape and continue to use it as my backup. I just bought the same one again. Even the same color. I plan on using it another 15 yrs. It may out last me. There is no second guessing with this stethoscope. It is worth the money.

You Get What You Pay For
All I can say about the stethoscope is wow! I am going to nursing school in September for my BSN, and this stethoscope will no doubt be perfect! My Mom and Aunt bought it for me as a graduation gift from community college. We just ordered my stethoscope 6 days ago and I just received it. I thought it would take longer because we ordered my name to be engraved on the head of the stethoscope. We had the head engraved because we read the many reviews about how doctors accidentally walk off with the nurses’ stethoscopes. The engraving is not covered by the logo, it can clearly be seen. We ordered the block style engraving, and it looks professional (which is what I wanted). The color of the stethoscope is ceil blue, which is a unique color that looks great! You can monitor high and low frequencies by simply holding the stem, and turning the diaphragm of the stethoscope. The sound on both ends of the diaphragm is amazing! I recommend buying this stethoscope. It is defiantly true that, “you get what you pay for,"
Be aware tube colors are not accurrately displayed
I ordered mine with Caribbean Blue tube and it arrived but the color is much darker than shown on the site. I had mine engraved and it arrived very fast.
