The item was recommended by an experienced doctor so assume it is very good.I was not happy with the shipping as I paid for two-day air and received it in six days. Yes, that included a weekend but did not need to pay the additional and would have received it in the same time.
Do not buy.
Heavy, very hard tubing when it bends there is no way to straighten out the tubing and it becomes uncomfortable. Overall not a good buy, also the it never feels that it has a good fit on your ears, dont buy it.
Very High Quality Sprague-Rappaport Sthoscope (Who Knew?)
I wanted a high-quality stethoscope that wasn't a Littmann (too likely to 'walk-away', and I dislike the tunable diaphragm). I like the Sprague-Rappaport style steths, but so many are cheap knock-offs. Not this one! It has a nice, dense dual head that really seals well and creates great acoustics. I hear really well with this steth. The 'x' configuration is wonderful - no artifacts from the tubes rubbing together. The plethora of attachments are high-quality and add to the versatility of the scope. Finally, it's also really comfortable to wear and the ear tips block outside noises well. This is a surprisingly high-quality Sprague (I didn't know there was such a thing until now!). It's also not super heavy like the traditional Spragues are. I really recommend it!
