I'm a medical resident and have gone through about 5 stethoscopes because I lose them frequently. I was expecting better quality based on the other reviews. It's a great price but you get what you pay for. Sound quality is about the same as what you get with disposable stethoscopes, and the ear pieces fell off the first day I had it.
i have used better ones but, this one does the job very well and the price was amazing. it is a good product that will last a while. what more can you ask for?
this stethoscope looks great and feels very light hanging around my neck, but i am not picking up heart and bowel sounds as well as i did with my heavy rappaport which is important for a post surgical floor with telemetry. for the price, i probably got in quality what i paid for.
This stethoscope is great for its price. It will work fine and you won't feel too bad if it gets lost or damaged, you can always get a new one.
Bang for the buck. Well priced, Professional appearance and performance
This was a gift for my son and he was very pleased with it. It looked very well made and very sensitive. He is an EMT in often chaotic situations and finds the engraving very important.
This stethoscope is very good for a busy nurse that keeps misplacing her steth and needs a good set of ears every day. I've had it for about a week. For 30 bucks, the construction is solid, it's hardy, and has excellent range. I've purchased 3 steths from AllHeart but this is by far my favorite.
I bought this for my EMT-B class and it has served me well thus far. The smoke black looks really good and the stethoscope seems to be well built. It probably isn't as sensitive as some of the other more high-end stuff but for my purposes it is perfect. The only problem I have is with the removable earbuds. The rubber ear buds are replaceable(the kit comes with 4 replacement earbuds) which is great but, there is a metal cap that they slip on to that can screw on and off. I don't see the reason for this and I nearly lost one after it had fallen off. Luckily I discovered that it was missing and was able to find it but this could have been a disaster. My suggestion is to apply some loctite to the metal caps and screw them on the end of each ear tube or AT LEAST make sure they are screwed on tightly before using the stethoscope. Mine was probably loose from the get go.
I bought this stethoscope for a former student of mine as a graduation present. I was SO delighted with it when I opened it up! For the price, it's AMAZING!!!! It has a good weight to it, it's not flimsy AT ALL!!! It's definitely comparable to my Littman Classic II that I paid around $100 for (also here on allheart... I love allheart!) I had this item personalized for her with her name engraved on the bell and it was really really nice!!!! She absolutely LOVED it!!! I'm sure this will give her many years of good auscultation!!!! ;oD
Did the job
Works like littmann.
