Stethoscope came exactly as described. It is very lightweight and the color was pretty. Easy to forget it's around your neck, does not cause any discomfort which is plus. It did take some getting use to because it is so lightweight. No complaints about the stethoscope but I would not recommend the engraving, that was a waste of money. It does not show up well. Sound quality isn't the best, but it did it's job.

The sounds were great!!! However it was to short and the opening was to small for my face.

This stethoscope works perfectly! It is very lightweight which I love as I keep it around my neck during work. Others I have tried are much heavier and less comfortable. The acoustics are top quality. I would definitely recommend this to any and all medical professionals!

I have been shadowing at my local doctor's office and the nurse there has a Littmann Lightweight. I used it a few times and I knew I had to have it! I got accepted to nursing school so I ordered my own last week and I love it!! It is so comfy, light and unique. The sound is great! I usually have a hard time taking a BP with noise in the background, but with this stethoscope, I have no problem. Allheart has great service! They are friendly and fast!

Great lightweight stethoscope. Used in the ICU and now as a CRNA. Works great, sounds good after 8 years, slightly dull sounding. Only problem is I constantly wear it around my neck and the tubing has hardened and is no longer flexible where ever the plastic touched my neck. Need to replace the tubing. I am assuming that is what is causing the slight change in sound.

This stethoscope is a great buy! I think the sound is much clearer than a more expensive one from the same company that I used previously.

I love this stethoscope! I am a nursing student. I have the Littmann cardiology III but it is very heavy to wear around your neck all day for clinicals. This one is much lighter but still very good quality.

I've got this scope in the seafoam green color. Looks nice! I really like the light weight of the scope, plus the comfort of the ear tips - they really block out the outside noises well. The shape of the diaphragm is nice because it goes under BP cuffs really well, plus the non-chill rim is great for patient comfort. I can hear very well with this stethoscope. I recommend this for both nursing students and for professional nurses. Can't beat a Littmann!

lightweight so if you wear it around your neck it doesnt cause any pain. very sensitive had some issues trying to hear when was wearing it in an ambulance. but using it in the clinic its great.

I have not used it t the hospital yet, but will in January during my studies. It has very strong sound, I like that, it will come handy. The price is very reasonable for the quality I am getting. The only problem I have with this stethoscope is tight fit in my ears. Definitely would recommend this item.

I start nursing school in the spring so I needed a stethscope. At first I was going to be cheap, but my fiance said to buy the namebrand one because of quality. So I did and I absolutly LOVE it!!!!!

Th Littmann Lightweight II S.E. Stethoscope is very light, comfortable, and functional. I purchased the light green color stethoscope and the actual color, vs. the one on the computer screen, is richer in person. I really liked the seafoam color with the copper-like metal leading to the ear pieces. Definately a nice looking stethoscope, so make sure your name gets on it somehow so no one is inclined to take it off your hands.

I have used it at work all the time and I can hear so much better i wish I would have brought this along time ago.

This was my first stethoscope I bought while in nursing school. It fits comfortably in my ears and I can hear much better than any other stethoscope I had used in the past. The only ""downside"" to this stethoscope is that it is so lightweight that it falls to one side of my neck, where the ear pieces are, because the bell isn't heavy enough to keep the weight even.

The s. scope is great, its like a whole new world of hearing. I ordered one for a freind because she has trouble hearing too. B/P of course.

Works very well (a lot better than the bargain stethoscope I bought earlier.) Ear tips are comfortable and shut out room noises. I got the burgundy one. The tubing is the duller rubber tubing and not as bright or as pretty as I hoped, I guess its a more natural rubber. The colors the other students have are bright, shiny clear colors. It will do though, especially since it works great.

Within one week of using this stethoscope I noticed the tubing has streaks of another color in it. Makes the stethoscope look dirty. Would suggest getting one in black.

i'm in nursing school and this is a great stethoscope to learn with. my only negative is that it is a little short in length.

I am very happy with my purple stethoscope. I got mine engraved for the same store price, and got the color I wanted. It seems to be holding up to backpack wear and tear. I would have liked if the engraving was highlighted in color, as you have to look for it to see it, but nice to have my name on it in general. This is a great stethoscope. I am a nursing student. I started of with a cheap stethoscope and couldn't hear. This was a great upgrade. I can hear very well and it 's comfortable in the ears. I also love that it's lightweight.

I was afraid that for 43 bucks, I wouldn't get what I was looking for, but Littman has pulled through. Always a great brand.

The color (lilac purple) is beautiful, and provides a burst of freshness to the otherwise dreary common dark colors the doctors normally wear. The product is very efficient too. It is lightweight, as the name implies, yet I don't feel that it takes away from the quality of the stethoscope. I'm a happy customer.

I will be graduating from nursing school in two weeks and I am confident that this stethoscope will carry me far into my nursing career. I can hear very well with it, I am shocked by how low the price is. There are a few RNs I've worked with who have had they same stethoscope and they love it, too. The only thing I don't like is how light it is and I'm sure most people actually love how light it is, so I'm in the minority there! Overall, great product.

I'm in my first semester of nursing school, and although my school provided us with cheap stethoscopes, I knew that I would want/need something better. I did research on different stethoscopes, and was deciding between this one, a Littmann Classic II and an Ultrascope and ultimately chose this one.Many people told me that I should have gone a step up and gotten the Classic or an Ultrascope because they're much better quality etc...but they're also much more expensive, and well, I'm a poor college student. I absolutely love this stethoscope and am quite happy with my decision! I can hear quite well with it, even in the loud hospital environment or with people having a conversation in the next bed over. The sound is loud and clear, and the ear tips are comfortable (even with my small ears!).Since getting my Lightweight SE, I have used a Classic II, and I can honestly say that while it might be more expensive, I don't think it's any better quality, and I actually prefer the Lightweight. Because its a littmann, I expected it to be better and I expected to be able to hear more through it, but I can hear just as much as any other regular stethoscope. I'm glad I bought it, cuz the price was right, but I will probably buy another one anyway, a more specialized cardiac one for my job.

This stethoscope is so light compared to my ""backup"" one! The lilac color is absolutely beatiful and the bell gives great sound.

As all of the other reviews have stated, this is a cool little scope. There are only two flaws, the diaphram shape and the bell. I've had mine for years, and, working in a veterinary office, it gets abused. The diaphram is torn, with any other scope, this is no problem, just replace the diaphram, however, I cannot get an oval shaped replacement diaphram anywhere. Second complaint is the bell. On Littmann stethoscopes, with the much hyped ""tunable"" diaphram, what is the point of the bell? I see that Littmann has released the ""Select"" model, addressing both of these issues.
