i bought these ears because i cant validate spending 100+ for a nice stethoscope ive been a nurse for 5 years now and have gone through about 400 dollars worth of ears .... its crazy when you work registry they just seem to vanish either way these ears are great for the price clear cardio/pulmonary sounds they rival my higher $ sets the clock is digital easy to reprogram and it stays on time i will buy another in another color
I bought the stethoscope thinking that the clock part would come in handy, which it did. It was an hour off, but we are close to daylight savings time, so I figured I would leave it as is. I really liked the light blue color, it went with my uniform, no one else has this color at work. And I could always locate it. But I actually just wrapped it up to return it after one day trial. 1) The tubing is too flimsy and thin. The stethoscope wouldn't stay put around my neck. 2) Because the tubing is flimsy and thin, the sounds are not as good as I need for heart and lung sounds. I am returning it for the Cardiology Specialist which I had previously and gave to someone who really needed it, and I had it broken in so nicely too! I have to remember that you get what you pay for. If I have to pay triple the price of the pulse time stethoscope, so be it, I need to be accurate. The Cardiology Specialist needs to come in that light blue color also.
