The Riester Ri-san? high quality, palm-style single-tube analog sphygmomanometer is the embodiment of ergonomic design. Suitable for right- or left-handed users. The air-release valve is conveniently regulated by fingertip control.
Overall Rating:
The sheer size of the gauge is something to comment on, it's huge! This is a very high quality cuff. The button pressure release is very precise and a lot easier to use than a screw valve. The only complaint I have is that the inflation bulb comes off very easily. I don't know if this is just a defect with my cuff but it's nothing a dab of superglue can't fix.
my staff and I are extremely pleased with these cuffs. They are surprisingly accurate and extremely easy to use. I love the deflation bulb--so much easier to use than the screw valves. Haaving a larger face is also an advantage.
My Tycos that I had had for years disappeared after I probably left it in a patient room in the nursing home. This looked like a good replacement at a much better price. Well designed, easier to handle controls than the Tycos, and a nice big dial. Would have preferred gray color but they were back ordered. This one is very handy.
good value
I am currently working as a school nurse in a middle/high school setting. When checking blood pressures, the students like to watch the gauge. We are in competition to see the numbers!! It is no longer an issue.
