Convenient set with Welch Allyn's high-quality diagnostic instruments.
Features and Benefits
The Welch Allyn AutoStep Coaxial Ophthalmoscope uses a Halogen HPX lamp that provides 30% more light output, for true tissue color and consistent, long-lasting illumination. Its 68 lenses in one diopter steps provides better resolution, and it has 6 apertures for general and specialist use. Its rubber brow rest prevents scratching of eyeglasses and its illuminated lens dial clearly identifies settings. The coaxial optical system produces shadow-free spot and easier entry into undilated pupils. The crossed-linear polarizing filter reduces corneal reflection, and the red-free filter may be used with any aperture. The 18 possible aperture combinations provide greater versatility, and the sealed optics provide better dust protection. Otoscope uses Halogen HPX Lamp and fiber optics for cool light with no reflections, no obstruction. It comes with a built-in throat illuminator/penlight and a wide-angle viewing lens for instrumentation under magnification. Universal handle accepts all Welch Allyn 3.5v instrument heads. The 3.5v Nasal Illuminator uses a Halogen HPX lamp that provides 30% more light output for true tissue color and consistent, long-lasting illumination. It uses a fiber optic light transmission for cool distal light, and is also convertible to a throat illuminator/penlight. Chrome-plated brass handle rests comfortably in the hand. It comes with an adjustable rheostat control; smooth, knurled finish; and safety switch to prevent accidental battery drainage.
